Biologique Micropuncture Lab

The issue of tissue aging
The tissue aging process is extremely complex and occurs as an inevitable chain reaction, when the cellular or the intrinsic biochemical components of both the dermis and epidermis may suffer, become modified, break down, or even disappear. For example, between the ages of 20 and 80, the number of dermal fibroblasts—which produces collagen and elastin—declines by half in the dermis.

That’s where the Biologique Micropuncture Lab comes in.Biologique Rechereche takes the micropuncture beauty technique and elevates it to a new level by incorporating it with other proven techniques and products. Beauty therapists now have in their arsenal a highly active instrument that targets dermal–epidermal exchanges with great precision while boosting the results of other Biolologique Recherche techniques.

How it works
This method is based on the capacity of the epidermis to regenerate itself when stimulated. When micropuncture perforations occur, they release growth factors that then activate fibroblasts, which in turn produce collagen and elastin, two things essential to skin health.

The method is based on 0.25mm puncture into the skin (which only penetrates the intra-epidermal target zone so there’s no risk of bleeding) with single-use sterile needles. In addition, the needle application area measures about 1cm and is significantly more accurate than a roller, enabling targeted and perfectly controllable results.

The obtained effects are the stimulation of intra-dermal collagen production and increased penetration of a special BR serum, Cocktail d’Actiffs Regenerants.
