The CIDESCO diploma is the world's most prestigious qualification in the field of beauty therapy. Every therapist at Jill Bucy Skincare is CIDESCO certified, with up to 1850 hours of intensive training.

No technique or approach is effective without a compassionate practioner for whom care of the skin and related systems is a passion.

Jill has selected her therapists with this in mind, and she has worked extensively with each skincare therapist to perfect the French methods for which she is known.

Jill Bucy is a skincare therapist, who is an expert at assessing the state of one’s skin and then prescribing the right treatment using true French methodologies and products. She has 26 years of experience.

Jill began her career at 18 by being the first American to be accepted to the esteemed Champneys International College of Health and Beauty Therapy in Tring, Hertfordshire, England. At Champneys, Jill graduated with honors and went on to achieve her CIDESCO accreditation. CIDESCO — founded in Zurich, Switzerland — provides the most prestigious qualifications in the world for skincare education.

Jill has worked in the field of medical aesthetics. She was also the National Training Director for Decleor, a major French cosmetics house, and has trained staff at many top spas and skincare salons in the United States and England.

As the French approach to skincare always made the most sense to Jill, she has gone over to Paris every year to learn the secrets behind true French skincare. Six years ago Jill was lucky enough to discover the cult product, Biologique Recherche, and brought it into her practice where she has seen incredible results with her clients’ skin.

Jill has been trained by Dr. Philippe Allouche, son of the renowned biochemist Dr. Yvan Allouche. Dr. Yvan Allouche created Biologique Recherche’s original skincare products and invented the “Yoga for the Face” machine. Dr. Yvan’s wife Josette, a physiotherapist, developed osteopathic massage that moves toxins away from the skin as well as tones it.

Taryn — Lead skincare therapist
A CIDESCO diplomat, Taryn graduated with honors from the highly acclaimed Dominelli International College of Esthetics in Vancouver, BC. Upon graduation, she moved to Seattle to work at Jill Bucy Skincare. In addition to her extensive CIDESCO training, Taryn receives ongoing education from Jill Bucy, Dr. Philippe Allouche and the Paris headquarters of Biologique Recherche. Her passion, focus and ability to provide profound and immediate results have gained Taryn a devoted following.

Erica — Skincare therapist, sugaring expert, Jessica nail specialist, and lash stylist
Seattle-native Erica brought the art of sugaring to Jill Bucy Skincare. Erica was drawn to aesthetic work from an early age and is especially proud to be working with Jill. Clients love Erica’s warm, relaxed style and attention to detail. Her well-known sugaring technique is gentle and superbly meticulous. Clients recommend ending any facial treatment of Erica’s with brow shaping — she has a highly regarded talent for perfecting even the most unruly eyebrows.

Stacy — Skincare therapist, sugaring expert, Jessica nail specialist
The newest member of our team, Stacy comes to Seattle via New York and Los Angeles where she enjoyed a successful career modeling for clients such as L’Oréal, Clairol and Glamour magazine. Finding her way back home to the Pacific Northwest, Stacy enrolled at the Euro Institute of Skincare where the educational emphasis was on holistic and naturopathic treatments. A calming and intuitive aesthetician, Stacy strives to make her facials an opportunity for clients to fully relax while achieving beautiful skin.
